RASANT 1000MT THREAD
 
Rasant is one of the world’s best known and most popular brands of sewing thread. Renowned for its consistency, durability and tensile strength. As a poly core cotton, it has the look and feel of traditional threads with the flexibility of a blended fibre. It is especially beloved by machine quilters, as it works well in a variety of different projects and applications. 
 
This is the only thread I like to use in my sewing machine. Good quality thread is so important to the health and happieness of your machine, not only the quality of your garment. Rasant is a polished thread meaning it does not create the lint build up that other threads tend to create. It is incredibly strong and does not fray or break like other cheaper brands of thread. I use this thread for all my garment making, quilting, and even sewing on leather.
