Finally, and most excitingly, is my new pattern: The Emerson Wrap!!! This pattern is currently in testing and will be launching early Feb. Send me a message to let me know your interest so I can let you know when I have the patterns printed and ready to ship. PDF will also be available.

How To Hem:

As a sewer, I am constantly asked to take up garments and hem pants. If only everyone knew how simple it really is. I show you just how easy hemming can be and what tools you will need.

First is a basic Seam Gauge. Not flash or fancy, but it gets the job done. A seam gauge is simply a small ruler that is used to measure inches or centimeters.

Secondly, we have the superior seam gauge by Nancy Zieman with Clover. it marks, it rotates, and it is just soooo nice to use.

Finally, is the Dritz Ezy Hem Ruler. If you plan to hem curves, than this is definitely for you!!! I love making the April Rhodes Date Night Dress and I use this ruler for the sleeves. It makes a world of difference!!!
